Hudson Headwaters

A leading 340B provider for hospitals and health centers

Our involvement in 340B began with the need to manage a program for our own health care entity – Hudson Headwaters Health Network, which officially became a not-for profit Community Health Center in 1980. Having started with a single location, our network now comprises 16 health centers serving rural communities in upstate New York’s Adirondack Mountain region.

A dedicated pharmacy services team was formed in 2002 as Hudson Headwaters began self-managing its 340B program. We were the first “covered entity” in the nation to receive authorization to contract with multiple pharmacies. As the program gained momentum, 340B revenue enabled us to expand access to care and medicines for patients with insufficient financial resources.

In 2006, we began offering 340B pharmacy management services to other health care providers using our proprietary Integrity software. Today we manage programs for health centers and hospitals nationwide and offer a variety of auditing services to ensure 340B program compliance. Read what some of our clients are saying.
